What is the BSc MLT course?
BSc in Medical Laboratory Technology or BSc MLT course is an undergraduate Medical Lab Technology program. Medical Laboratory Technology program can also be named as Clinical laboratory science. It is an allied health profession that is concerned with the treatment, diagnosis, and prevention of disease through the use of clinical laboratory tests.
It is a 3-year freshman course that is divided into 6 semesters i.e. 2 semesters each year. To get eligible for this course, one should secure a minimum score in 10+2 with science stream (PCMB) from a recognized board. The pass percentage may vary from institute to institute. The admission to this course is offered by considering the 10+2 merit and entrance exam scores (if any).
